CITY TO OFFER ANNUAL ELECTRONICS RECYCLING
(E-RECYCLING) AS PART OF TEXAS RECYCLES DAY ACTIVITIES
If you have old electronic equipment taking up space in your garage or closet and don't know what to do with it, you don't need to worry, because the City of Corpus Christi Environmental Services and Solid Waste Operations Departments have the solution. Environmental Services and Solid Waste are teaming up with Citgo Refining and the Goodwill Industries/Dell Computer Reconnect Program to offer the City's free Second Annual E-Recycling Event, which will be held as part of this year's Texas Recycles Day. The e-recycling collection effort will be held from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturday, November 14, 2009 at 4930 Old Brownsville Road, near Horne Road.
During that time, residents will be allowed to bring their old electronics for collection. The items that may be recycled are:
