LASER SPECTACULAR FEATURING MUSIC OF MICHAEL JACKSON

(Corpus Christi, TX ) The Laser Spectacular tribute to Michael Jackson is a multi-media show that will pay tribute to the king of pop on Saturday, November 7^th at 8:00PM at the American Bank Center Selena Auditorium. Spanning his forty year career, the show will take the audience on a visual journey beginning with his more recent achievements and then moving “backwards” to his early years as a child prodigy.

The show features:

Video – A few select songs will feature Michael Jackson in some of his most famous videos, including the 1995 MTV Music Awards performance as well as some of his famous short films such as “Thriller” and “Black or White” which, were big hits on MTV.

Lasers & special effect lighting – Some of Jackson’s hits lend themselves to a pure laser and light performance in the style of the Pink Floyd Laser Spectacular. Through the use of animated laser graphics, laser beams and aerial effects, we will re-create the image of M.J. in 3-D holographic effects. The lighting show is a concert style configuration that, along with the laser beams and laser graphics, will wow the audience in the same way a live concert does.

Live performance – The M.J. tribute artist that will be in this production will be featured in a “ghost like” way through the use of theatrical scrims and shadow screens. On several songs, he will perform as if in a live concert setting. The artist that will be in this show was actually picked by Michael Jackson to be his “official substitute”. MJ had to choose from 116 performers and picked Joby Rogers. http://www.myspace.com/joby67

Concert Sound – 50,000 watts of pure bass thumping sound will allow the audience to hear the MJ hits like they have never before.

Video Interviews – Special interview segments will feature people from all walks of life talking about Michael Jackson. These are short pieces that will be used to segue from one part of the show to another.
